  The scanned copy of the "To Whom It May Concern" letter immediately above, dated October 28th 2005, written by Dr Michael McCavert GP, is the "To Whom It May Concern" letter referred to in the above "Written Statement" (dated August 26th 2014) which was given to William Finnerty by Gerald Finnerty (brother of William Finnerty) and Marguerite Dolan (half-sister of William Finnerty) on August 26th 2014 by hand.

If one or both of the parties to an action is/are Freeman/Freemen, he/they may choose not to exercise his/their Right to Trial by Jury for his/their own reasons and sign a   Memorandum of Consent   to allow the Court to proceed summarily."

"Trial WITHOUT Jury" is actually enshrined in Bunreacht na hEireann
 by GodHelpUsAll Sun Mar 29, 2009 18:56

Article 38.2 of Bunreacht na hEireann (the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland) states that "minor offences may be tried in courts of summary jurisdiction" -- that is "trial by judge" (without a jury).

And, to make matters even worse, there is no definition of what a "minor" offence is in Bunreacht na hEireann.

The waters get even muddier if you try to find a definition in the "Citizens Information" web site (which I assume is a Government site); it says: "The distinction between the constitutional concepts of minor and non-minor offences equates more or less with the statutory distinction drawn between summary and indictable offences." What a mess? What a recipe for State Tyranny?
