Included in the recipient lists of July 15th 2015 email were Prime Minister Enda Kenny TD, Chief Justice Susan Denham, and President Michael D Higgins: who, correctly or otherwise, I see as the "Chief Executive Officers" of the three main branches of the overall Government of the Republic of Ireland: Executive, Judicial, and Legislative respectively. Yesterday, I also began, or tried to begin (very first attempt), the formal process of "seeking asylum" in the UK, which involved a face-to-face meeting (of approximately 30 to 40 minutes) in Northern Ireland, with a person who I understand is an "outreach-officer" in the employ of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Although I found the outrange-officer I spoke with (in a government building) to be very helpful in a number of ways, and generally most considerate, the particular person in question pointed out to me that they were not personally familiar with the procedures connected with "Asylum Application"; and, that being the case, I was offered another meeting for July 21st 2015: by which time the person in question hopes to have spoken with colleagues, and, as I understand it, to have some definite information for me on the "Asylum Application" procedure. A FULL COPY of the above-mentioned email to the UNITED NATIONS (dated July 20th 2015) can be viewed at the following www location: http://www.humanrightsireland. ================== WARRANT FOR ARREST STILL EXTANT "... #1), a warrant was issued for my arrest in the Republic of Ireland on July 8th 2015, and #2), that the warrant is still extant." The text in the first of the main sections below, which includes the piece just above, is from an email -- which has been edited in places for security reasons -- that was sent on July 19th 2015 to a staff-member of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, and copied to a small number of other people. ================== M, After talking with you late last Friday afternoon (July 17th 2015), I received the "Question and Answer" list by email from S at the Simon Community, filled it in, and returned it. A copy of the email I sent back to S containing the completed list of "Question and Answers", which has been edited in places (by me) for security reasons, can be viewed at the following www location: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/SimonCommunity/17July2015-2010/Email.htm On Saturday afternoon (July 18th 2015) I spoke on the telephone with K (at the Simon Community) and was informed that -- under no circumstances -- could the Simon Community provide me with accommodation of any kind at the present time. It seems (to me), from what K said to me last Saturday on the phone, that in connection with a part of the information (contained in a PDF file) which I provided the Simon Community with last Friday in the "Question and Answer" list referred to above, a member of K's Team contacted the Garda Siochana (Republic of Ireland Police), and that the Garda Siochana informed the person in question that #1), a warrant was issued for my arrest in the Republic of Ireland on July 8th 2015, and #2), that the warrant is still extant. A copy of the PDF file in question can be viewed by clicking on the following www link: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/LoughreaDistrictCourt/9July2015/ScannedRegisteredLetter.pdf Regarding the "warrant for my arrest" business, please see under item "4)", on Page 3, at the www address immediately above. Regardless of the above-mentioned inability of the Simon Community to provide me with accommodation, I still feel I should press ahead -- as soon as possible -- with the plan you mentioned to me last Friday afternoon to find a local "outreach worker" who will help me to fill in the necessary application forms for the UK old age pension. This is very largely because I feel I have a legal right, for several reasons, "to seek asylum" in the United Kingdom; and, that facilities are in place for such purposes: as evidenced by the piece of text in the section just below, which comes from a UK Government web site. === As an asylum applicant in the United Kingdom, you have the right to: be treated fairly and lawfully regardless of your race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation or any disability; practise your own religion, and you are expected to show respect for people of other faiths; have your application considered fairly and accurately; have access to support and accommodation if you meet the requirements for it; have access to free health care from the National Health Service (NHS); have legal representation. Free legal help may be available, depending on your income and your case. Your caseworker can tell you more about this. === The text in the section just above has come from the following United Kingdom Government www page location: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/asylum-applicants-rights-and-responsibilities/asylum-applicants-rights-and-responsibilities Allowing for the above, it would be very much appreciated if you could please help me to find a local outreach-worker. I will try to contact you tomorrow afternoon (Monday, July 20th 2015) at your office for the purpose of further discussing the matter of I finding, and working with, a local outreach-worker. Many thanks for all your help last Friday afternoon. Yours sincerely, William (Billy) Finnerty. === Related Email (edited in places for security reasons) which contains some closely associated "background" information connected with my particular case: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/SimonCommunity/17July2015-1150/Email.htm The full text (edited in places) of the July 19th 2015 email referred to above can be viewed at: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/NorthernIrelandHousingExecutive/19July2015/Email.htm ================== ARTICLE 18 OF THE CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION: "The right to asylum." A "marked up" copy of the CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION was included among the set of papers contained in a letter taken (by hand) by Gerald Finnerty (brother of William Finnerty) and Marjorie Dolan (half-sister of William Finnerty) to Republic of Ireland lawyer Brendan Glynn at the offices of law-firm Patrick Hogan and Company (Ballinasloe, County Galway, Republic of Ireland) on April 15th 2015. Scanned copies (in PDF Format) of the full set of papers referred to in the paragraph immediately above can be viewed by clicking on the following www link: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/LawyerBrendanGlynn/15April2015/Letter.pdf Unfortunately, from William Finnerty's viewpoint at least, Mr Glynn appears to have decided to COMPLETELY IGNORE the entire contents of the full set of papers at the www address immediately above. === "The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU brings together in a single document the fundamental rights protected in the EU. The Charter contains rights and freedoms under six titles: Dignity, Freedoms, Equality, Solidarity, Citizens' Rights, and Justice. Proclaimed in 2000, the Charter has become legally binding on the EU with the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, in December 2009."
