Thank you for your letter dated September 13th 2013.

I am very grateful to you for the efforts you have made on my behalf regarding the non-payment of government disability and old age pension allowances I believe I am now owed.

As can be seen in the scanned copy of the "Letter #3 (of 3): Registered letter dated August 2nd 2013" in the list provided below, I have very roughly estimated the sums owed to me at that time (August 2nd 2013) were 5,700 Euros for the unpaid disability allowances, and 25, 000 Euros for the unpaid old age pension allowances.

With reference to the meeting you had with my brother Gerald (Finnerty) and my half-sister Marjorie (Dolan) on Friday August 16th 2013 in the Athenry Day Hospital, which you have mentioned in your September 13th 2013 letter to me, please note that I asked Gerald and Marjorie to take copies of three letters to you on my behalf. Just after the meeting they informed me that they had handed the three letters to you during the meeting; and, that after some discussion with you regarding my general situation, they left all three letters in your keeping.

As your September 13th 2013 letter to me contains no mention at all of the three letters in question, I feel I have to assume that -- for one reason or another -- you might not be aware of the actual contents of the three letters in question.

Allowing for the worsening "explosive anger" symptom of the C-PTSD (Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) injuries I have been suffering with for several years now, and where the risks (for me) have been seriously compounded in more recent times by high-blood pressure problems, I feel I cannot sensibly get involved in face-to-face discussions with anybody at the present time regarding the growing set of medical, legal, and financial difficulties I am at present struggling with. Consequently, and with regret, I feel I have to turn down your kind offer of an appointment for me to see you on Friday 27th September 2013.

Please note though that I do not have any "explosive anger" type problems with "written discussions" relating to the C-PTSD difficulties I am at present battling with, and should you be willing to try and make progress (using written exchanges of information with me) regarding my unpaid disability and old age pension allowances, and my need to get the medical and legal assistance I require in order to recover from the C-PTSD injuries I suffer from -- which I have never had any proper medical treatment for to date, and which I have never had any proper legal help with either thanks to the fact that I have never been able to find any legal representation -- I would be grateful if you could let me know please.

Before ending, I feel I should point out that I am also deeply concerned about the contents of second paragraph of your September 13th 2013 letter to me, and this is because they seem to suggest (to me at least) that you might have been led to believe I have not applied for the old age pension. The truth of the matter is I applied for the old age pension on March 16th 2011 and sent my signed application through the registered post to the Social Welfare Services Office in Sligo on that day. Detailed information relating to my March 16th 2011 pension application, which includes the text of a covering letter I attached to my application, scanned images of the associated Post Office receipts and delivery information, and a scanned copy of Dr Michael McCavert's October 28th 2005 "To Whom It May Concern" letter, can be viewed at the www address provided immediately below. Also, and on account of earlier difficulties (i.e. before March 16th 2011) connected with unpaid disability allowances amounting to approximately 5,700 Euros (referred to above), I copied the full set of my March 16th 2011 old age pension application papers to Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton TD, and sent them to her (through the registered post) to her Dublin address on March 16th 2011 as well.
