I have received a letter dated November 15th 2022 from Ms Joanna Gordon at the Department for Communities, which contained a copy of your report relating to the adjourned oral hearing of my Pension Credits case held on August 31st 2022. I would like to comment on some of the issues raised in Ms Gordon's November 15th 2022 letter, and to also provide you with information connected with a few of the consequences (for me personally) relating to decisions her Department has made regarding my particular case, which are as follows:

1) There are number of references to the "self evaluation" of my property (i.e. "St Albans" in New Inn, Ballinasloe, County Galway, Republic of Ireland), which seems to me to suggest that I valued the property myself, independently of everybody else. What actually happened is that I asked my late half-sister (Ms Marjorie Dolan) and my brother (Mr Gerald Finnerty) to get a professional valuation of the property on my behalf. They contacted a local person (Mr Vincent Costello) to provide the valuation I requested. Mr Costello sent me his valuation, dated September 8th 2015, together with his fee, which I paid him. I forwarded Mr Costello's valuation to the Pension Credit Service, and they accepted it. A copy of Mr Costello's September 8th 2015 valuation has been placed at:

The Pension Credit Service accepted Mr Costello's September 8th 2015 valuation until (as I understand it), on March 21st 2019 (my birthday), the Pension Credit Service very suddenly decided (from my viewpoint at least), without warning me in any way, and without notifying me that they had done so, to cancel my Pension Credit payments, partly as a result of replacing the valuation of my home made by Mr Costello, with that of Mr John Purkiss, who is referred to in Section 24 on Page 8 of Ms Gordon's November 15th 2022 letter to me (referred to in the first paragraph above).

2) The second of the two main reasons (as I understand it) for the cancellation of my Pension Credit payments relates to the way that Lawyer Mr Greg Nolan (of law firm Patrick Hogan & Co, Ballinasloe, County Galway, Republic of Ireland) refused, in or around the early part of 2007, to legally secure the loans against my now derelict home in New Inn village, which, incidentally, is not in Ballinasloe Town as Mr Purkiss appears to believe. The village of New Inn is a very small rural village located approximately 13 miles to the West of Ballinasloe Town, and in so far as I know, it's present permanent-resident population consists of less that 50 people in total.

It has long been my belief that when -- sometime around the beginning of 2007 -- Mr Greg Nolan refused my brother and my half-sister to legally secure the money loans they provided me with against my home in New Inn, he did my half-sister, my brother, and myself a great disservice: for no good reason that I know of, or can think of.

I have made a number of attempts to find a meaningful explanation as to why Mr Nolan refused to secure the loans in question in 2007, the most recent of which can be viewed in the scanned copy of the registered letter I sent to Patrick Hogan & Co Lawyer Brendan Glynn, referred to at:

To date I have not received any reply of any kind from anybody at Patrick Hogan & Co to the September 21st 2022 registered letter in question.

3) The replacement of Mr Costello's valuation of my home with that of Mr Purkiss, in combination with the refusal of Mr Nolan to legally secure, in 2007, the loans my brother and half sister provided me with (which totalled approximately 116 thousand Euros (none of which I have yet paid back), have, among other negative consequences, led directly, it seems to me, to the cancellation of my Pension Credit payments; and, by way of the "knock-on" effect associated with the Pension Credits cancellation, the automatic cancellation of my Housing Benefit payments a few months later; which, in its turn, has led directly led to the rent arrears debt (of approximately £16,000) I now owe to Radius Housing.

4) In connection with my rent arrears, Radius Housing issued Ejection Proceedings against me which were heard at Langanside Court on May 18th 2021. On May 10th 2021 I sent a letter through the registered post Ms Heather Mulvenna (Listing Officer at Laganside Courts) requesting a re-scheduling of the May 18th 2021 hearing, for the 8 reasons I listed in the registered letter. For all practical purposes, it appears to me that all concerned with the May 18th 2021 court hearing, including the presiding judge (whose identity is not known to me), must have decided to completely ignore the contents of the registered letter in question, a scanned copy of which can be viewed at:

5) In an effort to try to avoid eviction, I entered into a written agreement on October 13th 2022 with Radius Housing, which Radius Housing appear to me to have broken very shortly after I entered into it. Additional information relating to these matters can be viewed in the scanned copy of the registered letter dated November 16th 2022 I sent to Mr Gerard Adair (Enforcement Officer at the the Enforcement of Judgements Office) at:

6) On November 18th 2022, Mr Adair delivered an Order of Possession to me by hand. Verbally, he informed me that although no definite date had yet been set for my eviction, he did state it would be sometime in January 2023.

7) Immediately following a stay of approximately one week in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital, in connection with a prostate problem mine, of several years standing, Dr David Cheyne GP provided me with a "To Whom It May Concern" letter dated July 27th 2020. In an email to Gerard Adair dated November 10th 2022, I included (as an attachment) a copy of Dr Cheyne's "To Whom It May Concern", which contains mention of my "potential eviction", and the fact that I suffer from Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 8) In connection with the Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder I suffer from (referred to in the section immediately above), I sent  a letter through the registered post to Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Paul Bell on November 3rd 2018 -- four months or so before my Pension Credit Payments were suddenly cancelled -- which Dr Bell appears to me to have completely ignored. 9) I have recently received a letter from Belfast City Hospital informing me that an appointment has been arranged for me to see Consultant Urologist Mr D Connolly on December 7th 2022. There is little doubt in my mind about the likelihood that Mr Connolly will be urging me to present myself for prostate surgery, which I have already postponed a number of time since my period of hospitalisation in July 2020: largely because of the growing array of unresolved legal, medical, financial, and social problems I am trying to cope with, and which includes of course the "eviction" problem of mine.

10) In a letter dated October 21st 2019 to Radius Housing Officer Mr John Cairnduff I expressed the belief that the set of difficulties I am striving to deal with (for well over 20 years now) needs to be considered in a holistic manner. By "holistic" I mean "characterized by the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole".

This "holistic approach" continues to be my belief regarding the overall set of problems I am struggling with; and, unless I can receive help from people who share that belief, it seems to me that my particular situation can only continue to get worse, as it has been doing since around 1997/98.
