Dear Superintendent
                  Walshe,
As you may already know, I happened
                  by chance to meet
Garda Thomas Kenny at my brother's
business premises last Saturday afternoon (i.e. November 29th
2008), and I pointed out to him that (from my viewpoint) there
are still a number of extremely serious medical, legal, and
financial issues which remain completely unresolved in
connection with the general subject of your letter to
Mr
Gerard Madden (Senior Social Worker) dated July 2nd 2008.
(A scanned copy of the letter in question can be viewed
                  at:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/SuperintendentEndaWalshe/2July2008/Letter.htm
                  )
After listening carefully to what I had
to relate to him last Saturday, Garda Kenny suggested that I
might usefully consider making an appointment to see you; and,
in addition, he also very kindly offered to help me make such
                  an arrangement.
However, and welcome though
Garda Kenny's suggestion of last Saturday was, I felt I had to
point out to him that I am suffering from

C-PTSD (Complex-Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder); and, that as consequence, I have developed an
unwanted tendency to get extremely angry whenever I attempt to
discuss the issues in question with anybody: including -- very
unfortunately -- those who I believe are doing their best to
try and help me, but who, for one reason or another, cannot
(in practice) actually provide me with the help I
                  need.
As you may not be aware of it, please
note that "explosive anger" is a well known symptom (among
medical doctors, psychologists, and social workers that is) of
C-PTSD  -- as can easily be verified via links such
                  as:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=C-PTSD%2C+explosive+anger&btnG=Google+Search&aq=o&oq=
                  for example.
The upshot of all this is that
although I would like to meet you for the purpose of
discussing my difficulties, I am concerned that any such
meeting with you, at this particular stage, might prove
disastrous for me: for reasons relating to the "explosive
                  anger" business.
Although I have tried very
hard, over a period of years, to get the medical treatment I
need for the C-PTSD problem I suffer from, so far my efforts
have not been successful. Please note that (for example) I
have not received any reply from my letter to
Dr Anne
Jeffers dated November 20th 2008 (a copy of the text can
                  be viewed at
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/DrAnneJeffers/20November2008/Email.htm
                  ).
All things considered, and provided of
course that you are willing, I feel it would be best if you
could first consider the difficulties inherent in my
particular case, and then afterwards let me know if you
believe you can help me in any significant
                  way.
If, upon receipt of written
notification from you that, having reviewed my case (using
this e-mail), you were to inform me that you believe you can
further help me in some significant way, I believe it would
then be much safer for me to meet with you: because I am very
strongly of the view that the risk of unwanted "outbursts of
explosive anger" from me would be greatly reduced in such
                  circumstances.
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for your earlier
efforts relating to my case: the results of which have
been hugely beneficial for me in certain
                  respects.
Changing the subject, I would
also like to take this opportunity to report that a fairly
large and heavy safe (belonging to me) has been stolen from
one of the upstairs bedrooms of the home of my brother (Mr
Gerald Finnerty). Though the safe in question was concealed to
a very considerable extent, my half-sister (Ms Marjorie Dolan)
seems convinced that it was in my brother's home up to
sometime around the middle of August of this year. Although I
realised in mid-September this year that the safe had been
stolen, I decided not to mention it to the Garda Siochana (up to
now), and this was because I was concerned that doing so
would almost certainly have resulted in another
recurrence of the "explosive anger" problem referred to
                  above.
I look forward to hearing from you
as soon as you reasonably can please regarding the above
request for a review of my case by you.
For
future reference purposes, I will place a copy of this e-mail
at the following address later today:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/SuperintendentEndaWalshe/1December2008/Letter.htm   Yours
                  sincerely,
William
                  Finnerty.

A
triangle of thoughtsby Pythagoras Mon Dec 01, 2008
                  08:09  To what extent do
"feelings of injustice" influence "culture" in human society,
and why is it that human beings (and indeed some of the higher
animals such as chimpanzees for example) have a very well
developed and potent "sense of justice" genetically programmed
into them while in the womb (and consequently not directly
influenced by "local environment" conditions external to the
                  womb)?
1) "Justice preoccupies child
and philosopher alike. The importance of fairness is evident
in the meticulous manner in which children demand that it be
                  demonstrated in every detail."
2)
"Injustice is unpalatable to all age groups. It confuses the
child, angers the adolescent, appals the adult and outrages
those who have seen its consequences too often. This is
because they know the many human systems in which injustice
may locate itself and 'justify' its
                  lodging."
3) "Being the recipient of
such an injustice is more than an emotion. It is
excruciatingly visceral. It invades the human psyche with the
most lancing cut. Depending on the severity of the injustice,
life may ever after be divided mentally between the time
before and after the unjust event."
