The Constitution of the Republic of Ireland, the
Supreme Law
of the
Republic of Ireland that is, is, according to
O'Dalaigh CJ. in In re Haughey (1971), founded on the
Doctrine of the Tripartite Division of Powers of the
Three Main
Branches of Government:
1) Legislative
(Oireachtas),
2) Executive (Government Ministers), and
3) Judicial
(members of the Judiciary).
Using the words of Dublin based barrister and law-lecturer
Brian Doolan
-- from his book titled
"Principles of Irish Law", as stated on Page
11 of the Fifth Edition, the Principles of
Republic of Ireland
Law based on
Bunreacht na hEireann (enacted in
1937 AD) that is,
as opposed to the
"Law of Northern Ireland" (and the rest of
the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"): which appears
to have
no
written
constitution other, perhaps (?), than on that based on a few
small fragments of the now close to 800 year old
Magna Carta (enacted
in 1215 AD)
-- the core expectation of
abiding by the
tripartite separation of powers doctrine is that the
"Abuse of power by one (branch) can be
checked by the others, and
tyranny, hopefully, is prevented".

The full text of Article 6.1 of Bunreacht na hEireann --
The
Supreme
Law of the Republic of Ireland -- reads, in full,
as follows:
"All powers of government, legislative, executive and judicial,
derive, under God, from the people, whose right it is to designate the
rulers of the State and, in final appeal, to decide all questions of
national policy, according to the requirements of the common good."
It needs to be noted, and very firmly kept in mind, that 1) a
"Republican",
genuinely "Democratic", and
"Constitutional
"government of the
people, by the people, for the people", and, 2)
a
"Totalitarian" and
"Fascist"
"government of the ruling-elites, by the ruling-elites, for the
ruling-elites", are two
very
different forms
of government: a fact that many of the most able and most cunning of the present-day
"fascist/totalitarians" constantly need to work very hard at confusing and
disguising, for the purpose of trying to fool as many voters as they possibly can
into voting for what they have been slyly hoodwinking people into believing is
"democracy" (and which is much, much more than just a "word" of
course). This
kind of deception is something that the often bullying and warmongering fascist/totalitarian
"ruling elite" types"
must do with maximum efficiency, particularly at the present time (i.e.
"The
Internet Age"): if they are to successfully manage to keep on
implementing their
apparently compulsive -- and some would argue psychopathic -- lust for the
eventual
total "domination and control" of "humanity as a whole": in the way
that a great many generations of them have
been doing, or trying to do at least, for the past several centuries throughout many
different areas of the world.
