Dear Chief Inspector Winters, As I recall it, Constable McGrory informed me last Saturday evening (i.e. May 31st 2008) that the police would be contacting me by telephone in connection with the laptop computer (and the associated power supply unit) belonging to me, which she informed me she had to confiscate from me. On hearing that the police would be phoning me, I pointed out to Constable McGrory (and to Constable Belfar as far as I can recall) that, for several months now, I have not been answering either of my telephones (BT or T-Mobile); and, that this is because I have been receiving phone calls (from people I know) which I find severely disturbing. The content of the unwanted and disturbing telephone calls I refer to above relates to a long drawn out and wide ranging build-up of an inappropriately ignored and criminally neglected set of medical and legal issues connected with the overall situation I recently outlined in the registered letter to Republic of Ireland Prime Minister Brian Cowen TD (dated May 9th 2008) at the following address: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/PrimeMinisterCowen/9May2008/Email.htm . I wish you to know that: a) I have been diagnosed by Dr Michael McCavert GP as suffering from Complex-Post Traumatic Disorder (C-PTSD); and, b) that I have never been provided with any treatment from a suitably experienced psychiatrist or psychologist for the set of psychological injuries I now suffer from, and have been suffering very badly from for the past several years. Evidence of Dr McCavert's C-PTSD diagnosis can be viewed in the scanned copy of his "To Whom It May Concern" letter dated October 28th 2005 at the following address: http://www.europeancourtofhumanrightswilliamfinnerty.com/Constitution/GerardMadden7November2005/Letter.htm , and it is the last (of three) of the scanned images on that page. I would be grateful to you could please take very careful note of the section of Dr McCavert's letter (at the address just above) which most correctly states that the "... symptoms and behaviours (I suffer from) are the result of traumas and stresses over years and these traumas and stresses have come at the hands of individuals and public officials and bodies that he has encountered in his struggles to try and correct environmental wrong doings". For health reasons directly connected with the above-mentioned C-PTSD issue, I remain very anxious to avoid having to answer the telephone, and it would be much appreciated if the police could write to me instead with regard to when they wish to interview me, either through the normal post or by e-mail. When I made this request to Constable McGrory last Saturday evening, she seemed to think it was not possible for the police to meet such requests. She also seemed to believe -- assuming I understood her correctly -- that if I did not answer the phone, the police would possibly come to my home and arrest me. On learning this, I asked Constable McGrory for the name of the officer-in-charge at Omagh Police Station, and, after she provided me with your name, I informed her that I intended to make my request (to be contacted by letter instead of telephone) directly to you, in the hope that you will be able to meet it. After giving my overall situation some very careful thought since last Saturday evening, I have now decided that it would be extremely unwise for me to attend any interviews with the police (on a voluntary basis) until such time as I have been provided with the services of: a) a psychiatrist or a psychologist who has specialist knowledge regarding the treatment of C-PTSD injuries caused by legal abuse; and, b) the services of a lawyer who fully recognises the factual existence of human rights law (as set out by the United Nations), and who is fully prepared to use it on my behalf for my protection. In the event that the police might decide they wish to interview me before both of the conditions set out in the paragraph immediately above are in place, it is my intention to remain silent (which I believe I have a legal right to do). With further reference to the laptop computer equipment Constable McGrory confiscated from me last Saturday evening, I pointed out to both of the police officers present (Constables McGrory and Belfar) that, for the past 18 months or so, I have been having an enormous amount of difficulty trying to get an Internet Broadband service supplied to my home in Greencastle, and that at the time Constable McGrory confiscated my laptop, I was in the process of testing an O2 Mobile Broadband System which I received from O2 on Saturday May 24th 2008 for a 14 day trial period. Allowing for the 14 day trial period in question, which ends this coming Friday (i.e. June 6th 2008), I am now wondering when the police will be returning my laptop computer equipment to me, and it would be much appreciated if you could please let me have some definite indication regarding this. (Constable McGrory seemed unable to give me anything other than extremely vague and entirely indefinite information on this point when I asked her about it last Saturday evening.) An outline of the amazing and bizarre set of completely unexplained difficulties I have been having regarding my efforts to be provided with a "home" Internet Broadband system -- one which works that is -- can be viewed at the following address: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/BroadbandIssues/History/19-May-2008.htm In connection with financial aspects of the home broadband difficulties mentioned at the internet address just above, I wrote to Mrs Kathleen McElduff (Omagh Bank of Ireland Manager) on May 24th last. A copy of the letter in question can be viewed at http://www.humanrightsireland.com/BroadbandIssues/BOI/24May2008/Email.htm . Please note that I copied the May 24th Bank of Ireland e-mail at the above address to Chief Police Constable Sir Hugh Orde OBE, and this was because I believe crime is being committed against me by Sky Digital -- on an ongoing basis -- in regard to the "home broadband" matter. May 24th 2008 was not by any means the first occasion that I have tried to point out to Chief Constable Orde that a selection of extremely serious crimes involving a growing range of issues is being committed against me during recent years. Unfortunately, it appears (from my viewpoint) that the police are completely ignoring all the evidence of crime and corruption I have been providing them with during the period in question. And, it is not as though the overall size of the crime and corruption problem I have been reporting to the police during recent years -- both in the Republic of Ireland, and in Northern Ireland -- is trivial. In fact, it is so massive, so complex, and so cleverly and deceptively well-hidden, that most people (at the present time) seem to find it extremely difficult to believe that anything of the sort could actually be happening on such a large scale. Nevertheless, and despite its largely hidden nature, I have attempted, with some modest measure of success I feel, to outline the basics of the shocking reality of this global problem in the registered letter I sent to Prime Minister Cowen TD on May 9th 2008 (which can be viewed at http://www.humanrightsireland.com/PrimeMinisterCowen/9May2008/Email.htm ). I hope to receive a written reply from you to this e-mail within the coming 14 days please, and I further hope you will be able to include an assurance that the police are doing something of significance regarding the "mountain" of crime and corruption I am now pointing out to you in this e-mail, and which I have been attempting to point out to Chief Constable Orde (by e-mail) for the past several months. I am also hoping that it will be possible for you to make the laptop computer (and associated power supply unit) Constable McGrory confiscated from me last Saturday evening available for me to collect at Omagh Police Station as soon as you reasonably can please, or, that in the event the police decide they wish to hold onto the two computer items in question, that I will be provided with a written explanation from the police as to why. Later today I will send a printed and signed copy of this e-mail to you through the Recorded Delivery post. In addition, and for future reference purposes, a copy of this e-mail will later today be placed at the following Internet location: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/ChiefInspectorMichaelWinters/2June2008/Email.htm Yours sincerely, William Finnerty. http://www.humanrightsireland.com/ |
