Dear Mrs McElduff,
I would be
grateful if you could please let me know if there has been any
progress regarding the return of the money
Sky Digital
have taken from my bank account (for the Broadband Internet
Service which I never received from them).
Since last
writing to you, and in the event that you have so far failed
to get back my money from Sky Digital, please note that I have
received an e-mail from the
BT Northern Ireland Broadband
Team (dated May 15th 2008) which
confirms my long held suspicion that the BT
telephone line to my home in Greencastle
is
not capable of supplying a Broadband
Internet Service.
A copy of the BT Northern Ireland
Broadband Team
e-mail in question can now be viewed at
the following Internet location:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/BroadbandIssues/History/19-May-2008.htm#1I
have also received a very closely related letter dated May
14th 2008 (through the normal post) from
BT Northern
Ireland Wholesale Broadband Manager Michael Spiers which
contains the following sentence:
"However, we are aware
that despite an engineers visit to your premises it has not
yet proved possible to get your telephone line to support ADSL
broadband".
Later today I will send a printed and
signed copy of this e-mail to you through the Recorded
Delivery post, and I will attach a copy of the letter dated
May 14th 2008 from Mr Spiers (referred to in the paragraph
just above).
Yours sincerely,
William
Finnerty.
