RE: YOUR RADIUS HOUSING SETTLEMENT PROPOSAL DATED DATED JUNE 9TH 2021

Thank you for your settlement proposal offer dated June 9th 2021, a copy of which was handed to me by Community Mental Health Social Worker Ms Tina Millar at a meeting I had with her and Gerard Forrestal (of the Welcome Housing Organisation) on June 17th 2021. In the days that followed June 17th 2021 I gave very careful consideration to your proposal and decided that it might have the potential for making progress towards a temporary solution to the rent arrears debt problem, and the associated Radius Association eviction threat I face, especially if it is possible for me to discuss the contents of your proposal with a professional lawyer acting directly and independently on my behalf.

I sent a letter through the registered post to Northern Ireland Justice Minister Naomi Long MLA on July 5th 2021, which was partly for the purpose of trying, yet one more time, to find a professional lawyer to advise me, among several other things, regarding your June 9th 2021 proposal.

Although I have received a reply from Northern Ireland Justice Minister Naomi Long MLA this morning, unfortunately I do not think the contents, such as they are, will in any way enable me to find access to the professional legal advice and representation I need. I'm not at all sure Ms Long can have carefully read the contents of my July 5th 2021 registered letter to her, and consequently I'm not at all sure she understands the depth of the difficulties I have been having -- for well over 20 years now -- with finding proper professional legal advice and representation.

I feel I should point out that I have received an email dated May 28th from Ms Rosemary Wood, at the Northern Ireland Lord Chief Justice's Private Office, informing me that I am entitled to lodge an appeal relating to the Court decisions referred to in the scanned copy of the May 18th 2021 letter to me from Babingtons Solicitors at:

As can be seen in the email at the www location immediately above, Ms Wood has suggested to me that "I might like to seek independent legal advice on the matter": which is a choice that is not available to me at the present time, and which is another reason why I have sought help with finding a professional lawyer in my July 5th 2021 registered letter to Northern Ireland Justice Minister Naomi Long MLA (referred to above).

Another reason I feel I badly need professional legal advice relates to registered letters and emails I have been receiving from the Dublin law firm of Hayes Solicitors during the past few years or so. Yet another reason I feel badly in need of independent professional legal advice and representation relates to the fact that I have been delaying decisions regarding surgery for a prostate problem of mine since I left hospital last July, on account of my unresolved legal problems (which of course in includes the ongoing, and now very pressing threat of eviction by Radius Housing).

I also feel badly in need of independent professional legal advice and representation relating to the fact that, for no good reason that I know of or can think of, Republic of Ireland law firm Patrick Hogan & Co (Ballinasloe, County Galway), refused to legally secure loans from my brother (Mr Gerald Finnerty) and my late half-sister (Ms Marjorie Dolan) which I have received against my home in County Galway: at the time the loans began, which was around March 2007. The overall total sum of money that has been borrowed by me, according to my records, is in the region of 116,100 Euros; and, that it is these "legally unsecured loans" which have 1) caused the Northern Ireland Pension Service to cancel my Pension Credit payments, and 2) caused the Belfast Housing Executive to cancel my housing benefit payments: which in turn has resulted in the large rent arrears debt (approximately £10,000) of mine, and the associated pressing eviction threat by Radius Housing.

Please know that, to date, I have not received any reply of any kind from Mr Glynn, or from any of his colleagues at Patrick Hogan & Co, to my October 12th 2020 registered letter to him.

As you may already know I have received a letter dated July 13th 2021 from Babingtons Solicitors, which seems to me to suggest that I could now be evicted  from my present address at any time. A scanned copy of the letter can be viewed at:

Up to the time I received this July 13th 2021 letter from Babingtons Solicitors, and based on a number of similar reports I have received from different sources during recent months, and which include public statements connected with this subject from Northern Ireland Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey MLA, it has been my understanding that I could not be lawfully evicted from my present address before August 18th 2018, on account of COVID-19 related restrictions involving a "three month delay" between the time the courts give the go-ahead for an eviction, which in my particular case I believe was May 18th 2021, and the earliest date that the eviction can implemented, which, in my particular case, would be August 18th 2021.

At a meeting I attended on July 13th 2021 with Community Mental Health Social Worker Ms Tina Martin, and Welcome Housing Representative Mr Gerard Forrestal, it appeared to me -- from comments Mr Forrestal made during the meeting -- that Mr Forrestal also believes, assuming I understood him correctly, that the "three month delay" (referred to above) really does exist.

If it is the case that I can now be evicted from my present address by Radius Housing at any time, as the July 13th 2021 letter from Babingtons Solicitors appears to me to possibly imply, it would be much appreciated if you could provide me with written confirmation that this really is the case, as soon as possible please.
