"Correctly or otherwise, it also appears to me that corrupt global bankers (of the most powerful and dangerous kind imaginable) are undermining the sovereignty of our State: with the help of corrupt judges (through the use of unconstitutional legislation); and, that nobody outside of the legal profession can ever stop this process: for as long as our legal profession keeps on supporting impunity in the way that it is.

"The entire weight of legal opinion, practice and precedent is to the contrary." -- your viewpoint (in favour of having a Second Lisbon Treaty Referendum).

Again, and correctly or otherwise, things appear differently to me (from my viewpoint).

To me, it appears to be the case that it's "the entire weight of (grossly corrupt) legal opinion, practice and precedent" that's playing the LEAD ROLE in getting our society into an almighty mess, which it might never be able to get out of, let alone recover from: because of the overall failure during the past few decades or so of our legal profession to support our extremely hard-won Constitution (Bunreacht na hEireann) in a responsible manner.

Correctly or otherwise, it also appears to me that corrupt global bankers (of the most powerful and dangerous kind imaginable) are undermining the sovereignty of our State: with the help of corrupt judges (through the use of unconstitutional legislation); and, that nobody outside of the legal profession can ever stop this process: for as long as our legal profession keeps on supporting impunity in the way that it is.

For some more viewpoints and debate on these worrying matters (if interested) please see the list produced by the link immediately provided below.
