TAS (THE APPEAL SERVICE) CASE REFERENCE: BE/6784/19/45/O
Dear Mr O'Brien,
RE: "UPDATED VALUATIONS" OF MY HOME IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
As you may know, Wolfhill Help Centre Tribunal Manager and Lawyer Ms Geraldine
McKeith, at Belfast Citywide Tribunal Service, telephoned me on March 23rd 2023
to let me know that she felt she could not help me with my Pension Credits
Appeal.
As a result of learning that Ms McKeith would be unable to assist me, I sent a
letter on March 29th 2023 through the registered post to Principal Lawyer Mr
Brendan Glynn, at the law firm of Patrick Hogan & Company, Dunlo Street,
Ballinasloe, County Galway, Republic of Ireland, for the purpose of trying to
get hold of the information you requested from me on Page 3 of the TAS (The
Tribunals Service) letter to me dated January 13th 2023, a scanned copy of which
has been placed at the following www location:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/AppealsServiceNorthernIreland/13February2023/Letter.htm#Page3
A scanned copy of my March 29th 2023 registered letter referred to above to Mr
Glynn has been placed at:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/LawyerBrendanGlynn/29March2023/RegisteredLetter.htm
According to the Post Office, my March 29th 2023 registered letter to Mr Brendan
Glynn was delivered on April 3rd 2023, and evidence of this can be viewed in the
scanned copy of the "Proof of Delivery" note which has also been placed at the
www location immediately above.
As you may know, my above-mentioned registered letter to Mr Brendan Glynn dated
March 29th 2023 consisted of a signed printout of an email I had sent earlier in
the day to Mr Glynn, and which I had copied to you, to Wolfhill Help Centre
Tribunal Manager and Lawyer Ms Geraldine McKeith and Wolfhill Help Centre Office
Manager Mr Brendan McClarnan, and to a number of other people as well.
To date, I have not received any reply of any kind from anybody connected with
Patrick Hogan & Company to the registered letter referred to at the www location
immediately above; and, allowing for the fact that I feel I would need a written
reply from Patrick Hogan & Company regarding the "UPDATED
VALUATIONS" information -- that takes into account potential "ENCUMBRANCE
ISSUES" relating to my home in the Republic of Ireland -- which you have
requested from me, I am not at all sure just now about how I might best deal
with this problem of I not having, to date, received any reply from Patrick
Hogan & Company to my March 29th 2023 registered letter, other than to inform
you regarding it.
Allowing for the situation referred to above regarding Wolfhill Help Centre
Tribunal Manager and Lawyer Ms Geraldine McKeith, please know that, despite my
best efforts, I still find myself in a situation whereby I do not have any
direct access to professional legal advice and representation regarding the
difficulties in question.
Any guidance that you, or your colleagues at TAS (The Appeals Service), might
now be able to let me have for the purpose of making progress regarding the
matter of finalising my Pension Credits appeal in a just manner, would be much
appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
William Finnerty.
