Will President Michael D Higgins insist, as appears (to me) to be his LEGAL DUTY under the terms of Article 6.1 and Article 12.8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland (both referred to below), on having a national referendum to decide the fate of this HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL Bill -- which many believe should, if the best interests of honesty were to be best served, be called "The Abortion Bill" -- so that "in final appeal" it will be "the people" of the Republic of Ireland who will have the FINAL SAY say as to whether or not this Bill becomes law.

Article 6.1 of Bunreacht na hEireann (the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland and as such the SUPREME LAW of the Republic of Ireland) VERY clearly states:

"All powers of government, legislative, executive and judicial, derive, under God, from the people, whose right it is to designate the rulers of the State and, in final appeal, to decide all questions of national policy, according to the requirements of the common good."

Under the terms of Article 12.8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland:

"In the presence of Almighty God I Michael D Higgins, do solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will maintain the Constitution of Ireland and uphold its laws, that I will fulfil my duties faithfully and conscientiously in accordance with the Constitution and the law, and that I will dedicate my abilities to the service and welfare of the people of Ireland. May God direct and sustain me."

Similarly for Republic of Ireland Chief Justice Susan Denham under the terms of Article 34.5.1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland:

"In the presence of Almighty God I, Susan Denham, do solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will duly and faithfully and to the best of my knowledge and power execute the office of Chief Justice (or as the case may be) without fear or favour, affection or ill-will towards any man, and that I will uphold the Constitution and the laws. May God direct and sustain me."

What about the CONSTITUTIONALITY -- and the LEGALITY -- of the way our Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) is USURPING the right of "the people", "in final appeal, to decide all questions of national policy, according to the requirements of the common good" through the use of a referendum?

The Republic of Ireland Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) usurped the Article 6.1 rights of "the people" in connection with the Bankster bailouts (and other major "common good" issues): i.e. usurped the right of "the people" to have the "final" say as to whether or not the 70 billion Euros bank bailouts (or whatever the exact figure to date is) meets "the requirements of the common good": having due regard for the many www reports concerning the quadrillions of Euros of self-created DERIVATIVES GAMBLING DEBTS which the Banksters have got themselves into; and, which many well-informed people believe can NEVER be paid off because they are far, far too big to EVER be paid off: thanks to the way the Banksters can STILL fraudulently create money from nowhere out of nothing, which they then "lend" to governments around the world, AND charge compound interest on!!
