Re-visit the
dealby Gayle Fri Feb 27, 2009
11:00I would agree with you
Margaret regarding the need to "re-visit that
deal".
However, for as long as "the corrupt" have
overall control of the courts and the legal system, I believe
they will always win out in the end: especially where there
are very valuable assets such as oil and gas reserves
involved.
That is why I believe
"trial by jury"
is an absolute must: when and where things get to the stage
that genuine law-abiding protestors end up being charged with
criminal offences for things such as "obstruction" for
example.
As I see things at least, it's far, far too
easy at the present time for judges (in the PAY of the
GOVERNMENT please note) to criminalise genuine protestors --
who are simply trying their best to resist the bad social
effects (on the community at large) from bad
law.
