Dear Siobhan,

I hope this finds you well, and that things are progressing reasonably smoothly regarding the difficulties you and Dean are going through.

I hurriedly sent you an e-mail last Sunday, but as I have not heard anything from you, I'm not sure if you received it or not.

I was stuck for time last Sunday, partly because of the 24 hour deadline I had set for myself in my e-mail to you of the day before.

In the meantime, I have placed a slightly edited version of last Sunday's e-mail text at the address below:
http://humanrightsireland.com/SiobhanTaraFinnerty/18November2012/Email.htm

The version of the message-text now at the www address just above, is closer to the version I would have liked to have sent to you, had I had more time, last Sunday.

Changing the subject a little, and I don't think I ever told you this, not too long after joining AA in 1975, I first heard the Stevie Wonder song "Isn't She Lovely". It very powerfully reminded me of the times I used to play with you 332 Ewell Road (Surbiton, Surrey, England) when you were a baby of just a few months old, and the way you used to smile when I would throw you up in the air over the bed. A summersault always guaranteed a much bigger smile, which seemed to say: "Do it again!!"

Ever since those days of long ago, I always think of you whenever I hear that
particular Stevie Wonder song.

There is a version of it at:

Love,

Dad xxx.
