Corruption
in the European Union

On this the day of his visit
to Dublin, an effort was made this morning to try and
raise the extremely important (but frequently ignored) issue
of corruption in the European Union with President
Sarkozy -- which several Internet reports suggest is so
far out of control that it appears to many to be "completely
unstoppable" at the present time.
For anybody
interested, a SAMPLE selection of such reports can be found
via the following Google link: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Unstoppable+European+Union+Corruption&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
The e-mail used this morning was
copied to some senior members of the police -- simply
because it is believed that the corruption in question
involves crime (on a massive scale) of the kind the police
should be investigating.
The fact that the police do
not appear to be investigating this particularly nasty,
anti-social form of "Public Servant" crime -- even when they
have been informed about it (in writing) many times -- is of
course a major part of the "corruption problem" in the
European Union.
In any event, a copy of this morning's
e-mail (which was also copied to several media personalities
and organisations) can now be viewed at: http://www.humanrightsireland.com/PresidentSarkozy/21July2008/Email.htm
