Dear Gerald and Marjorie,

I am writing this letter to you in haste because, in so far as it is possible for me to judge, I doubt that the contents of the copy of the letter I received recently from Patrick Hogan & Co will be enough to enable the Northern Ireland Pension Service to restore my already cancelled "Pension Credit" payments. This is because I believe the NI Pension Service requires a "legally binding agreement" which clearly states that the sums I have borrowed from you both are "legally secured" against my home in New Inn (County Galway, Republic of Ireland), in circumstances whereby the deeds of my home are lodged with Patrick Hogan & Co, and are fully under the control of Patrick Hogan & Co, until and if such time as I am able to repay, in full, the combined debts of mine -- of approximately €98,850 -- to you both.

Please find enclosed a copy of the two-page letter dated June 4th 2019 that I have received from Patrick Hogan & Co, which I have referred to above.

More importantly just now, the same applies (as far as I know) to the payments for the flat I am at present living in, which the Northern Ireland Housing Executive pays directly to my landlord on my behalf. As far as I can recall, these payments amount to approximately €110 per week at the present time. As can be seen from the enclosed copy of the two-page letter dated May 31st 2019 from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, it seems to me that they might not be able to continue with these payments beyond July 1st 2019: unless they are provided with hard evidence of the "legally binding agreement" I have referred to above.

Assuming that Patrick Hogan & Co are willing to produce the "legally binding agreement" in question, which -- allowing for the associated signatures I suspect might be required from all three of us (possibly?) -- it may take several weeks for them to complete the job; and, this being the case, the thought has crossed my mind that Patrick Hogan & Co might be willing to contact the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (as soon as they reasonably can) for the purpose of informing them that the necessary (as I understand it) legal document is in the process of being prepared. Full contact information for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive is available from the enclosed copy of their letter dated May 31st 2019.

As I have already informed you, all of the legal papers connected with my home in New Inn are already lodged with Patrick Hogan and Co (since the 1980s). Further information relating to this can seen in my letter to you dated May 13th 2019, which contained a copy of the closely related note handed to me by Louis at the Belfast Jobs and Benefits Office on May 1st 2019.

Thank you for your letters to me dated May 30th 2019 and June 10th 2019.

Enclosed please find two copes of this letter.

Best wishes to you both.
