"Thus we have what we now have (which most of us do not
want): despots and plutocrats bullying, abusing, robbing and
injuring people (as individuals) left, right, and centre --
while endlessly raving on about 'democracy' and the 'rule of
law' by all the most hypocritical and deceitful means
available to them, and with the full support of their vast
media organisations. "===================

simpler than it appears to some?by

Brehon Law appeared very
compassionate and just to us, and despite this it was forcibly
taken away from us and replaced by
Roman Law -- which appears
much less so.
Add to that the fact that the
United
Nations "Universal Declaration of Human Rights"
has, in effect,
been completely ignored more or less by all and sundry for the
past 60 years or so (copy at
http://www.un. org/Overview/rights.html ): including even the teachers in our
schools.
Thus we have what we now have (which most of
us do not want): despots and plutocrats bullying, abusing,
robbing and injuring people left, right, and centre -- while
endlessly raving on about "democracy" and the "rule of law" by
all the most hypocritical and deceitful means available to
them, and with the full support of their vast media
organisations.
