"As an Irish dual national, with an Irish
Mother who tried to instil in me many values typical of
Ireland…values that she herself consistently adhered to for
all her faults…including the values of justice and
transparency, I appeal to the people of Ireland to vote ‘No’ a
second time to the Lisbon Treaty in the referendum in
October." =======================

14:26 For those who
might not know,
Swiss born science-journalist
Jane Burgermeister (who is half-
Irish and half-
Austrian), at present living in
Austria -- and
VERY worried apparently
about the possibility of a
"YES" vote win -- has some
strong feelings about our
Second Lisbon
Treaty Referendum.
The following is a
sample comment from Ms Burgermeister (
"Bürgermeister" in the German
language):
"We face the prospect
of an unelected EU president with unprecedented, dictatorial
powers, checked only by a parliament proven to be so corrupt
that auditors refuse to sign off on the EU accounts in case
they incriminate themselves in massive
fraud." For
