One know attendant of last years meeting of the Bilderberg was Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Its very intersting to notice that in the past few days a youtube channel "infowarriors" has been taking down. Infowarriors is a channel on youtube by Alex Jones an American journalist. He is constantly trying to expose the Bilderberg Group. The Group have existed since the 50's and meet annually in luxury hotels in secrecy and with a media black out. Why are 120 of the worlds most powerful people meeting in secret with a media blackout??????

Guardian journalist has been detained once again while covering the Bilderberg meeting. He is also being follow by two men.
Why do the group not want journalists to cover this conference? Why so many secrets and harrasment of the press? Why is there such a media blackout when the most powerful people of this world meet in secret?

Officially described as a "private gathering", the guest list of the Bilderberg Group includes the heads of European and American corporations, and political leaders of various kinds -- some claim "two from each state" are invited -- making this annual event one of the most influential on the planet.

Allowing for all the secrecy those involved demand and get for themselves, it's very likely also one of the most dangerous I suspect?

Not surprisingly perhaps, and as can easily be verified via the link provided below, it's very difficult to find out is attending this year's event (which is taking place just now aparently).

Understandably maybe, there seems to be little doubt that a growing number of people are getting "hot under the collar" about the amount of perceived control the "Bilderbergers" appear to now have over humanity: with additional bits in the planning stage perhaps?

For example: "Sources within Bilderberg said President Obama will be instructed to make another effort to get the United States to sign on to the International Criminal Court. The ICC treaty, if ratified by the Senate, would be superior to the Constitution, able to overrule Congress and the Supreme Court and impose 'world law' on America." It may be worth keeping in mind that the Bilderberg Group does not operate in isolation apparently.

It appears to be the case that it works very closely with at least two other very influential groups: The Trilateral Commission, and The Council on Foreign Relations.

Additionally, there appears to be several cases of extremely influential individuals having strong links with all three of these groups.

Consider for example the present U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. According to a report at http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/obama_bilderberge....html he has the following links:

"Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, president and CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of New York, director of policy development for IMF, member Group of Thirty (G30), employed at Kissinger & Associates, architect of the recent 2008 financial bailouts, mentored by Lawrence Summers and Robert Rubin."

Similarly for some other members of U.S. President Obama's "inner circle" according to the same report (at the above address).

Much closer to home, we have our own Peter Sutherland (former Attorney General of the Republic of Ireland):

The more we learn about groups of the kind mentioned above, the more we're inclined to believe that our Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) is little more than a mere puppet of the overall larger "group-of-three" (or more perhaps?) in question: regarding all matters that are of major interest to the relatively very small, but also very influential and often extremely wealthy array of bankers, lawyers, politicians, and corporate leaders involved.

Similarly with all the rest of our "elected representatives" (in both local and central government): and particularly regarding the leaders of our main "opposition parties".

Thanks to the insidious and almost invisible "prison" the politicians we elect are being secretly and silently held in (by the looks of things as they appear through the circumstantial evidence available), which appears to be very tightly and vigorously controlled by the "Ruling Elites" associated with groups such as those mentioned above, our "elected representatives" can't safely say what they mean in public regarding what are core issues for the People of the Republic of Ireland -- relating to our oil and gas reserves, heritage protection, and national security (for example): and consequently they rarely seem to actually mean what they say in public regarding such matters, appearing instead to be just "talking heads" that are being operated by remote control.

For all practical purposes, democratic politics is virtually a "dead duck" in the Republic of Ireland just now we believe, apart of course from the very expensive (in more ways than one) smoke-and-mirror types of verbal illusions which are being produced on a regular basis in places like Dail Eireann, in main-stream-media debates and writings, and so on.

Similarly in many, many situations of the same kind outside of the Republic of Ireland: such as in the European Parliament (for example).

"Talking the talk" and "walking the walk" are two very different and separate things: especially regarding the core social issue of genuine democracy, and its many major ramifications connected with social justice, and with the general wellbeing of our society overall.

Events at home appear to have deteriorated to the stage now where our elected representatives don't even seem to be able to protect the sovereignty of our State anymore: and they even appear to be regularly producing and sustaining unconstitutional laws (with crucially important help from our UNELECTED Judiciary it needs to be very carefully noted) that are not in the public interest, but which the public are nonetheless being bullied into abiding by at the hands of individuals and public officials and bodies acting on behalf of the State -- either directly, or indirectly through the use of "private security" organisations of various kinds.

Sadly (as far as we're concerned) it seems we are all still as far away as ever from "genuine democracy", as when former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (later assassinated) defined it as "government of the people, by the people, for the people" at the Gettysburg Battlefield Ceremony on November 19th 1863: if not much, much further, and much more dangerously so perhaps -- in terms of all the social bullying and tyranny historically associated with so many of the despotic and plutocratic rulers of recorded world history to date: "democratically elected" or otherwise, and not forgetting that the weapons of war (and mass destruction) are almost infinitely more powerful and destructive now than they were in President Abraham Lincoln's time.
