Dear Siobhan,
Just as I was getting close to finishing
the e-mail to you below (yesterday evening), a message suddenly appeared on
the screen of the computer I was using stating: "the library is about to close
and all work should be saved immediately". Consequently, and without
thinking too much about it, I just pressed the "send" button: there and
then. (A copy of e-mail in question, sent Tuesday 12 Feb 2008 19:51:14, is
reproduced below).
The main thing I would have added, if I had the time
yesterday evening, is that there is plenty of information available these days
on the "C-PTSD" (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) subject via links such as
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=C-PTSD&btnG=Search
: should you wish to learn more about the subject.
I hasten to
add that I do not by any means have full-blooded versions of all the symptoms
listed via the above link (should you decide to look)!! - and neither have I
ever been subjected to many of the abuses listed either - not as far as I know
at least (when very early childhood experiences are included).
To the very best of my knowledge, the main cause
of the C-PTSD symptoms I am at present saddled with arise from the very simple
fact that senior "public servants" (so called) in this part of the world
continue, after several years, and with no sign whatsoever of any let-up, to
blatantly deny me certain very important, and very basic, legal rights under
Articles 6 and 13 of the European Convention on Human Rights - as described in
my recent letter to Dr Michael McCavert (my GP) at
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/DrMichaelMcCavert/2February2008Letter.htm
.
Then, add to that the fact that the senior members
of the medical profession are (in effect) very powerfully protecting the
perpetrators of the legal abuse I'm being subjected to, by the way they are
failing to provide me with proper professional treatment: i.e. professional
treatment which takes full and proper account of the well known psychological
"injustice" injuries publicly described almost two years ago by Dublin
based psychologist Marie Murray at
http://www.europeancourtofhumanrightswilliamfinnerty.com/MarieMurray19April2006/IrishTimesArticle.htm
.
From my viewpoint at least, the main causes of the C-PTSD
problems I've now got are as outlined in the two paragraphs just
above.
Love and best
wishes,
Dad.

Dear
Siobhan,
I was glad to hear from you, and to learn that you would
be happy with the arrangement I suggested for visiting Melbourne (as outlined
in my e-mail to you of February 3rd).
If there are likely to be
lengthy periods when you will be away from Melbourne this year, please let me
know, so that I can avoid such times. (I'm thinking of holidays which might
take you far away from Melbourne, and that kind of thing.)
I feel
I should try to explain that, at the present time, I'm trying to focus on just
seeing the four of you, and I hope this will be acceptable to you. One of
the several symptoms of the C-PTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
I've got relates to what some medical doctors refer to "chronic fatigue" - and
when it comes, all I can do is go to bed. To some considerable extent, I have
learned to "manage" it, and I believe I now know most of the circumstances
that bring it on.
Regarding the matter of meeting other people,
much depends (I believe) on whether or not I can get some good quality help
with the C-PTSD problem in the coming weeks, and I have written to
Dr McCavert
(my GP) regarding this issue (on February 2nd last). At the present time,
getting help with that particular problem seems more important (to me) than
does the prosate cancer business. As things stand, I'm genuinely not sure
if I have prostate cancer or not. I'm now 100% sure though that I have been
suffering from the C-PTSD for several years, and I'm extremely annoyed with
the way the medical profession (overall) are failing to provide me with
proper treatment for it. By "proper" treatment, I mean treatment which is
designed to bring the legal abuse I'm being subjected (by senior lawyers and
politicians) to an end as soon as possible.
As the hope of
finding such treatment seems doubtful to me at the present time, I
consequently feel I should cut things to the bone regarding arrangements to
meet people while I'm in Melbourne. If, before I go to Melbourne, I do
actually get the medical treatment for C-PTSD I need, then that would of
course change things a lot I believe; and, in such circumstances, I believe I
could safely and sensibly meet any amount of people while I'm in
Melbourne.
I don't know how you can explain the above situation
to C***** and G****? I do know though that people in Ireland sometimes gently
and truthfully explain such things to people (too young to properly
understand) by saying something along the lines: "he's been in the wars, and
though he survived them, he did receive certain injuries: some of which are
serious, and as yet has not received any proper medical treatment
for."
Changing the subject, and to answer your question
about Carmel, she died as a result of some complicated combination of myeloma
and osteoporosis. (Myeloma is a blood disorder, and more can be found on the
"combination" in question at
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=myeloma,+osteoporosis&spell=1
).
I'm not convinced that you should concern yourself too much
about the myeloma issue (which I believe is, in effect, a form of blood
cancer), because nobody else in my family has
EVER had it in
recent generations - as far as I know. As you may recall, Carmel's family home
(in Suffolk) was surrounded by farms, and there was, I believe, a lot of crop spraying
(using pesticides) in the area over the years: and, as you probably already know,
some pesticides are notorious for causing chaos with human body-cell reproduction
processes.
Everything I know about the situation relating to Carmel's death suggests that
airborne pesticides (or something of that sort) were a more likely cause of
her death than faulty
genes.

Hi Dad,
I was very sorry to hear your
news, and not really sure what to say about it? Only that from what I
have been told, prostate cancer is quite a curable type of cancer if
caught early enough? What type of cancer did Carmel die of? For some
reason I thought it may have been melanoma, but Mum seems to think
breast? I actually thought I was lucky enough not to have cancer in my
genes, but it is proving that this may not be the case!?!?!
As
far as coming out to Melbourne is concerned, I think that every thing that you
have in mind I am totally agreeable with. I think it would be nice
for us to spend some time together before bombarding you with the whole
clan!!! (Although they are very excited.)
It was
interesting that both you and Marjorie think that I look like
Carmel. That is nice to know.
I want to wish you all the
best for the proceedings that you now have to endure. I have absolutely no
idea what an ordeal it must be for you (very ignorant I know -
sorry).
Please keep me posted.
Thinking of you with
love
Siobhan x
